| SQL Developer/DBA - Swindon
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a SQL Server Developer/DBA to join a successful Microsoft Gold Partner who will invest in your personal development. My client is looking for a Developer with experience of SQL Server 2005/2008 however 30% of your work will be Database Administration.
Your role will involve working heavily with Database concepts for MS SQL Server, administering/ managing databases, testing/ deploying systems, performance tuning, and script development for live data updates and automation. You will also be involved with the design, development and maintenance of our existing applications, along with documenting procedures and development of reporting services.
This is a fast-paced yet informal environment so enthusiastic individuals that are willing to learn and push themselves will fit right in. This is an excellent opportunity for a SQL Server Developer / DBA with a passion for IT to further develop their skills at the leading edge of e-commerce. My client will support you through formal qualifications such as MCP`s and there is a bonus scheme in place.
Suitable applicants will have solid experience of: SQL Server 2005/2008, Development, T-SQL, Performance Tuning, Stored Procedures and Triggers.
