A well respected employer in Cirencester are looking to recruit a Database focused Developer. My client works with some of the UK\`s leading organisations and it is great chance to join a professional but friendly environment.
The VB.Net, VB, SQL Server Developer will be responsible for all database development projects, making sure they are delivered to brief and on time. The role will give you exposure to the full development lifecycle and your responsibilities will include: Developing system functionality according to agreed specifications and testing developed functions to agreed quality standards Participating in technical designs and design reviews with Team Leaders Migration of data to new databases Database Development Gathering Requirements Investigate system and data issues Upgrade system software and work with technical services to ensure that data and system security are appropriate Maintain the database so that it runs at an optimum level
Ideal candidates will have strong SQL Server database skills and your technical background will include, VB.Net, ASP.Net, VB, COM, COM+, SQL Server 2000/2005, DTS and TSQL. Any experience of XML would be an added bonus to your application.
